Panmist JR Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination med is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Panmist JR: Take it drug by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew med. If stomach upset occurs, it may be taken with food or milk. Take it drug as directed. do not increase the dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. It's recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.
Panmist JR side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify youre healthcare professional if you develop: chest pain, a rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this medication may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness and avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Panmist JR Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. it medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with you're pharmacist. it is not known if this medication appears at breast milk; consult you're pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Panmist JR medication interactions: Tell some your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, pill for depression, medication for high blood pressure. Tell your doctor if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Panmist JR Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.
Panmist JR special notes: do not share it product with others.
If you missed Panmist JR dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if Its almost clock for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Panmist JR Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
