Neomycin Sulfate Usage: this medication is used to treat skin infections.
How to use Neomycin Sulfate: Clean & dry affected area before applying medication. To apply, gently massage very small amount of medication into the affected area and surrounding skin. Continue to use drug as directed for full clock prescribed. Stopping therapy too early may not completely clear infection causing it to return. do not cover with bandages unless instructed to do so by your doctor. it may take one week before any improvement is seen. If no improvement is seen after four weeks, consult youre doctor. another medication may be necessary. Avoid using it medication around the eyes, nose or mouth.
Neomycin Sulfate side effects: this med may cause burning, stinging or redness when first applied to skin. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform you're doctor. in the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Neomycin Sulfate Precautions: Tell your physician your medical history especially: kidney disease, any allergies. Use about this drug for prolonged or repeated periods may result in secondary infection (e.g., fungal infection). it drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your doctor. It's not known if this med is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Neomycin Sulfate drug interactions: Tell you're doctor of all prescription & nonprescription medications you may use, especially of other skin products.
Neomycin Sulfate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Neomycin Sulfate special notes: this medication is prescribed for your current condition only. don't use this for another infection or share it with someone else. another infection later on may require different medication.
If you missed Neomycin Sulfate dose: If you miss a dose, apply as soon as remembered & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.
Neomycin Sulfate Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store at bathroom.
