H 9600 Sr Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. it combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use H 9600 Sr: Take this drug by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew the drug. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take this medication as directed. do not increase the dose or take this more often or longer than prescribed. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
H 9600 Sr side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to drug. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify youre doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this medication may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness and avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. H 9600 Sr Precautions: Tell youre doctor if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, hypertension, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with youre doctor. It's not known if this med appears in breast milk; consult youre healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
H 9600 Sr medication interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, med for depression, drug for high blood pressure. Tell your physician if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
H 9600 Sr Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, and seizures.

If you missed H 9600 Sr dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost clock for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
H 9600 Sr Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
