    Ranitidine 75mg - oral

    Ranitidine HCL Usage: it drug reduces the amount of acid in you're stomach. It's used to relieve symptoms about heartburn, indigestion & sour stomach. Ranitidine is also used to prevent heartburn from certain foods or beverages.

    How to use Ranitidine HCL: it medication is usually taken only when Its needed, up to two times per day (2 pills in 24 hours). Its best taken with, or immediately after, meals to relieve symptoms of heartburn. To prevent heartburn symptoms, ranitidine must be taken 30 to 60 minutes before eating food or drinking beverages that can cause heartburn. If you are taking sucralfate, ranitidine should be taken at least 2 hours before the sucralfate dose.

    Ranitidine HCL side effects: Nausea, diarrhea, drowsiness, headache, dizziness, or trouble sleeping may occur. If these effects persist or worsen, notify some your doctor. Tell your healthcare professional immediately if you have any about these unlikely but serious side effects: trouble breathing, muscle pain, joint pain, blurred vision, itching, rash, fever. Tell your doctor immediately if you have any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects: irregular heartbeat (e.g., unusually fast or slow heartbeat), chest pain, mental/mood changes, stomach pain, yellowing of eyes or skin, unusual bleeding or bruising. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact you're physician or pharmacist.

    Ranitidine HCL Precautions: Before using it medication, tell you're pharmacist or physician your medical history, especially of: heartburn combined with lightheadedness or sweating or dizziness, chest pain or shoulder/jaw pain especially with shortness of breath, pain spreading to arms or neck or shoulders, unexplained weight loss, liver or kidney problems, severe stomach pain, other stomach problems (e.g., tumors), any allergies (including drug allergies). Smoking can help cause ulcers and can prevent them from healing. Smoking should be avoided. Alcohol can irritate stomach & cause bleeding. Consult youre pharmacist about safe use of alcohol. speak to you're physician of the safe use of this product for children. Tell your pharmacist if you are pregnant before using it tablet. Ranitidine passes into breast milk. Because about potential risk to the infant, breast-feeding while using it medication isnot recommended. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Ranitidine HCL drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of every prescription & nonprescription medication you may use, especially of: ketoconazole, itraconazole, triazolam. it med is available in both prescription & over-the- counter formulations. don't take both at same time. Ranitidine may affect results of certain medical/laboratory tests (e.g., urine protein). Be sure to tell your healthcare professional you taking ranitidine. all nonprescription/prescription aspirin or aspirin-like medicine may cause stomach irritation/ulcers. Consult your doctor or pharmacist. don't start or stop any medicine with-out healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

    Ranitidine HCL Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include difficulty breathing, quick heartbeat, tremors, vomiting, restlessness, weakness, fatigue, or dizziness.

    Ranitidine HCL special notes: do not share this medication with others. you're physician may recommend some lifestyle changes such as stop- smoking programs, diet changes, & exercise to help treat and prevent heartburn.

    If you missed Ranitidine HCL dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If It's near time of the next dose, skip the missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. don't double the dose to catch up.

    Ranitidine HCL Storage: Store at room temperature between 36 and 86 degrees F (2 to 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
