Betoptic S Usage: this medication is used to reduce pressure in eye caused by glaucoma or another eye conditions.
How to use Betoptic S: To instill eye drops, wash hands 1'st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye. Shake bottle well before using. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down lower eyelid to make a pouch. Place dropper directly over eye & administer the prescribed number of drops. watch downward & gently close your eye for 1 to two minutes. Try not to blink and do not rub eye. do not rinse dropper. for maximum effect, this med must be used routinely as prescribed.
Betoptic S side effects: this med may temporarily sting your eyes for minute or two when you first use it. If stinging persists or becomes bothersome, inform your doctor. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable after applying drops. Use caution driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your healthcare professional if you experience any about next effects: dizziness, drowsiness, depression, breathing difficulties, irregular or slow heartbeat. in unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to it drug, seek immeditial medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, breathing trouble. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or pharmacist.
Betoptic S Precautions: Tell youre pharmacist some your medical history, especially: diabetes, thyroid disorders, muscle weakness disorders, breathing problems, heart problems, any allergies. If you are scheduled since surgery that requires anesthesia, tell doctor treating you that you use this medication. Betaxolol should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Betoptic S Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed. Symptoms of overdose may include slowing of heart rate, dizziness, and fainting.
Betoptic S special notes: Discard solution if it turns brown.
If you missed Betoptic S dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if Its almost clock for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Betoptic S Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
