Narcotic analgesic/apap/caffeine - oral
Panlor Dc Usage: it combination medication is used to relieve moderate to severe pain. it drug contains a narcotic pain reliever, acetaminophen (a non-aspirin pain reliever) & caffeine. Caffeine is used to enhance pain relief, especially in certain types of headaches.
How to use Panlor Dc: Take this by mouth with food or milk if stomach upset occurs. Take this drug exactly as prescribed. don't increase dose, take this more often than directed or continue taking it for longer than prescribed. this medication contains acetaminophen. don't take more acetaminophen than recommended (see Side Effects section).
Panlor Dc side effects: Stomach upset, headache, blurred vision, constipation, drowsiness, dizziness or lightheadedness may occur. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your physician. Notify your pharmacist immediately if you develop: a rapid heart rate, fainting, breathing difficulties, mood changes, depression, irritability, nervousness. If you do not have liver problems, adult maximum dose of acetaminophen is 4 grams daily (4000 milligrams). If you take more than the maximum per day amount, it may cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. Tell you're doctor immediately if you have any of following symptoms of liver disease: severe nausea, yellowing eyes or skin, dark urine, stomach pain, extreme fatigue. An allergic reaction to this med is unlikely, but seek immeditial healthcare attention if this occurs. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.
Panlor Dc Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: asthma or other breathing disorders, kidney disease, liver disease, drug dependency, allergies (especially drug allergies). Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this med causes you to feel drowsy or dizzy. this product contains acetaminophen. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage. per day use of alcohol, especially when combined with acetaminophen, may increase you're risk for liver damage. check with youre healthcare professional or healthcare professional for more information. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit youre intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. the elderly & children may be more susceptible to the effects about it drug. Use this with caution. this medication should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss risks & benefits with your pharmacist. Its not known if this drug appears in breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.
Panlor Dc med interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may use, including: antidepressants, anti-seizure medications, other narcotic pain relievers, sleeping pills, sedatives, cimetidine. Acetaminophen is an ingredient in much about nonprescription goods & in some combination prescription medications. Read the labels carefully before taking other pain relievers, fever reducers, or cold products to look if they also contain acetaminophen. Consult your pharmacist if you uncertain if your other prescription or nonprescription products contain acetaminophen. (Also watch adult maximum per day dose next guide in Side Effects section). Avoid the use of alcohol while taking it medication. don't start or stop any medicine with out doctor or doctor approval.
Panlor Dc Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include vomiting, slow/shallow breathing, fever, unusual quick or slow heart rate, unconsciousness, delirium, sleeplessness, seizures, dry gums & eyes, severe nausea, yellowing eyes or skin, dark urine, stomach pain, extreme fatigue.
Panlor Dc special notes: Long-term or excessive use of narcotic analgesics may lead to dependency. this is important that you following your dosing schedule as directed. If dose prescribed does not provide adequate pain relief, contact some your pharmacist.
If you missed Panlor Dc dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if it is near time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Panlor Dc Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 & 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
