Humatin Usage: it medication is an antibiotic used to treat intestinal infections. it is also used in the treatment about liver disease.
How to use Humatin: Take this tablet by mouth as directed, usually 3 times a day with meals for 5 to 10 days. this is best taken with food to prevent stomach upset. Take it medication for the full time prescribed. do not stop taking this without your doctor's approval. Stopping therapy too soon may result in reinfection.
Humatin side effects: Nausea, diarrhea or stomach ache may occur. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify your doctor if you develop skin rash, ringing in ears, hearing trouble, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre pharmacist or physician.
Humatin Precautions: Tell some your physician if you have: kidney problems, intestinal disorders, allergies (especially medication allergies). this medication must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with some your doctor. since small amounts of this med are found in breast milk, consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
Humatin drug interactions: Tell you're physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you take, especially of: loop diuretics (water pills), digoxin, penicillin & related antibiotics. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.
Humatin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Humatin special notes: this medication has been prescribed for your current condition only. You should finish taking all of the drug prescribed. do not save any or take this for any other condition.
If you missed Humatin dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; don't take it if it is near time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Humatin Storage: Store capsules at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
