Belladonna alkaloids with barbiturates - oral

Donnapine Usage: this medication slows activity of digestive system, thereby reducing cramping and gastric motility. Barbiturates are used for their calming, sedative effects. Used to treat stomach & intestinal disorders, motion sickness premenstrual tension, bed-wetting & urinary frequency.

How to use Donnapine: Take 30 minutes to one hour before meals, unless your physician tells you otherwise. May be taken with food or milk if stomach upset occurs. do not take within one hour of an antacid or anti-diarrheal pill as effectiveness of this medication will be reduced. Take it drug as prescribed. do not increase dose or take it more often than instructed. Sustained-release tablets must be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew them or sustained activity will be destroyed and chance of side effects increased.

Donnapine side effects: can cause drowsiness. Use caution when performing tasks that require alertness. other side effects include dry mouth, bloating, constipation, difficulty in urination, irregular pulse, confusion, tremors, restlessness, blurred vision, altered taste perception. Inform youre doctor if any of these effects continue or worsen. If it med makes you constipated, increase youre fiber intake by eating more fresh fruit & vegetables, salad, and whole grain breads. Exercise & drink plenty of water (unless you're doctor tells you not to). in the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to it medication, seek healthcare attention immediately. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or doctor.

Donnapine Precautions: If you ever had an unusual reaction to belladonna or to any barbiturate or if you are allergic to tartrazine (a yellow dye), tell your doctor before taking this medication. If you have any of the following health problems, inform your doctor before using it tablet. this medication should not be used if you have: kidney disease, liver disease, glaucoma, heart problems, certain diseases of urinary tract. Alcoholic beverages may add to the drowsiness caused by it drug. Avoid strenuous exercise especially in hot weather and avoid saunas while taking this medication. this drug reduces sweating which can lead to overheating. this combination product isn't recommended for use during pregnancy. Consult your doctor before using this drug. this drug is excreted in to breast milk. barbiturate in it med has caused problems in nursing infants. Consult you're pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Donnapine drug interactions: many medications can decrease effects of this medication or increase it is side effects. Tell your doctor what prescription and nonprescription medications you taking, especially pills that cause drowsiness such as: cough-and-cold medicines, sleep drugs, narcotic pain drugs (e.g., codeine). this drug may interfere with the effectiveness of birth control pills. Discuss using other methods of birth control with your doctor. do not start or stop any medicine with out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Donnapine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea/vomiting, blurred vision, unusual size of pupils, cold or hot dry and flushed skin, dry mouth, fast heartbeat, fever, headache, fast or slow & shallow breathing, change in amount about urine, drowsiness, blue skin, or unconsciousness.

Donnapine special notes: don't share this product with others.

If you missed Donnapine dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if this is almost clock for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Donnapine Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. do not store in bathroom. do not freeze liquid forms of it med.
