Pancrelipase - oral enteric coated capsule

Creon 10 Usage: this medication contains digestive enzymes which help digest and absorb foods. Its used to treat symptoms of pancreatitis or other various digestive disorders.

How to use Creon 10: this medication works best if taken with or after meals. Swallow the capsule whole. do not crush or chew it. the capsule may also be opened, the contents sprinkled on a small amount of soft food (e.g., gelatin, applesauce) & food swallowed immediately without chewing. don't mix the contents of the capsule with alkaline foods such as milk or ice cream because the protective coating may dissolve prematurely. Antacids may hinder effects of this tablet. do not take an antacid at same time as this medication. Wait at least 2 hours between administration.

Creon 10 side effects: Generally this med is very well tolerated & side effects mild if they occur. Diarrhea, cramping or stomach upset may occur when starting treatment. If these effects persist or worsen, inform some your pharmacist. Although very unlikely to occur, notify your doctor if you develop: a skin rash, severe stomach distress. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or physician.

Creon 10 Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially of: allergies (especially to pork). this med should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. it isnot known if this medication appears in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Creon 10 drug interactions: Tell your doctor about all prescription and nonprescription tablet you may use. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Creon 10 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Creon 10 special notes: do not share it product with others.

If you missed Creon 10 dose: Take any missed dose as soon as possible but not if it is almost time since next dose. If it is clock for next dose, skip missed dose and resume you're regular schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose.

Creon 10 Storage: Store at room temperature and keep away from moisture and heat. don't store in bathroom.
