Daunorubicin - injection

Warning: Daunorubicin must only be given into a vein through other IV fluids. do not inject this pill into the muscle (IM) or just beneath skin (subcutaneously). Notify doctor immediately if redness, pain, & swelling occurs at, or around, injection site. Daunorubicin may cause heart problems (including heart failure) or bone marrow suppression. Notify your healthcare professional immediately if you develop an irregular heartbeat, trouble breathing, swelling of hands or feet, simple bruising or bleeding, or signs of infection such as fever, unusual fatigue, or persistent sore throat. Tell your pharmacist if you have liver or kidney problems before starting treatment with this drug. You may require smaller doses of daunorubicin.
Cerubidine Usage: Daunorubicin is used to treat leukemia.
Cerubidine can be used also since: this medication may also be used to treat different types of cancers.
How to use Cerubidine: this is potent pill. Use this exactly as prescribed. Tell youre pharmacist or nurse immediately if you experience pain, burning or redness at the place where injected. Unless youre pharmacist instructs you otherwise, drink plenty about fluids while taking it medication. this helps your kidneys to remove the drug from you're body and avoid few of the side effects.
Cerubidine side effects: Nausea, vomiting and diarrhea are common side effects. Not eating before treatment may help relieve vomiting. Changes in diet such as eating several small meals or limiting activity may help lessen some about these effects. in some cases, tablet therapy may be necessary to prevent or relieve nausea and vomiting. this med may turn you're urine reddish color. this is a normal effect of the drug as it leaves your body & is not blood at urine. effect must clear up within 2 days after each dose is given. Temporary hair loss is another common side effect. Normal hair growth must return after treatment has ended. Contact your physician, with out delay, if you experience any of next symptoms: sores in mouth or on lips, fever or chills, cough or hoarseness, lower back or side pain, painful or difficult urination, irregular heartbeat, shortness about breath, swelling about feet or lower legs, stomach pain, joint pain, unusual bleeding or bruising, black or tarry stools, blood in urine or stools, small red spots on the skin, skin rash, itchy skin. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Cerubidine Precautions: it med must not be used by women who or may become pregnant or while nursing. Because this drug can affect the production of sperm in men, a reliable form about birth control is recommended while taking this drug. Tell your doctor if you have pre-existing blood disorders, liver disease or heart disease.
Cerubidine medication interactions: Tell your physician of all prescription & nonprescription medication you may use. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Cerubidine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Cerubidine special notes: this medication can lower some your body's ability to fight an infection. Notify your doctor if you develop any signs of an infection such as fever, sore throat, rash, or chills. Avoid touching youre eyes or inside your nose with-out 1st washing some your hands. Use caution with sharp objects like safety razors or nail cutters & avoid activities such as contact sports in order to lower the chance of getting cut, bruised or injured. do not have immunizations/vaccinations without consent of your physician, and avoid contact with people who have recently received oral polio vaccine. Regular physician visits important. Frequent blood tests will be done to monitor therapy.
If you missed Cerubidine dose: don't double dose if missed. Contact your physician.
Cerubidine Storage: Refrigerate piggyback or infusion device. Warm to room temperature before infusing. money expiration date. Store vial in room temperature away from sunlight.
