    Guaifenesin with pseudoephedrine - oral capsule, med

    Ru Tuss JR Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination med is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.

    How to use Ru Tuss JR: Take it drug by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew the med. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take it med as directed. don't increase the dose or take it more many times or longer than prescribed. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.

    Ru Tuss JR side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur 1st several days as your body adjusts to medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your healthcare professional. Notify some your physician if you develop: chest pain, a rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because it medication may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness and avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    Ru Tuss JR Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, hypertension, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your physician. It's not known if this medication appears in breast milk; consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Ru Tuss JR drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: sleeping meds, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, drug for depression, med for HBP. Tell you're pharmacist if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Ru Tuss JR Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.

    Ru Tuss JR special notes: do not share this product with others.

    If you missed Ru Tuss JR dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Ru Tuss JR Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom.
