Visine Usage: it med is used in eye to relieve redness, burning and irritation due to dry eyes, allergies or minor irritations.
How to use Visine: it drug is for use in eye as directed. One or two drops placed in affected eyes up to four times a day. Apply eye drops as follows: Wash hands 1st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper or let this touch your eye. Shake the eye drops well before using. Tilt youre head back, gaze upward and pull down the lower eyelid to make pouch. Place dropper directly over eye & administer the prescribed number of drops. see downward and gently close your eye for 1 to two minutes. Place one finger at the corner about eye near nose and apply gentle pressure. this will prevent the tablet from draining away from the eye. Try not to blink & do not rub eye. do not rinse the dropper. Wash hands after use. If you using another kind about eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications.
Visine side effects: this medication may temporarily sting or burn your eye for minute or two when 1st applied. If it continues or becomes bothersome, inform you're doctor. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable for few minutes after applying eye drops. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: skin rash, eye pain, swelling in or around eyes, vision problems. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or pharmacist.
Visine Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: other illnesses, allergies (especially drug allergies). it drug should be used with caution during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss the risks & benefits with your healthcare professional.
Visine drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may use, including: other eye medications. don't start or stop any medicine with out physician or healthcare professional approval.
Visine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Visine special notes: If the condition for which it was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after a some days, consult you're doctor.
If you missed Visine dose: If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as remembered; don't apply it if it is near time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Visine Storage: Close container tightly after each use. Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. Discard this if the solution turns brown, cloudy or contains particles.
