Corticosteroids - topical
Clobex Usage: this medication is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, allergies and other irritations.
How to use Clobex: Clean and dry the affected area before applying the drug. To apply, gently massage small amount about the drug at to the affected area & surrounding skin. do not bandage, wrap or cover the area treated unless you instructed to do so by your doctor. do not use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on kid being treated with this medication in the diaper region. Avoid using this med around eyes unless directed to do so by youre pharmacist.
Clobex side effects: this medication may cause burning, stinging, itching, or redness when 1'st applied to the skin. it should disappear in few days as youre body adjusts to the medication. this tablet may also cause skin thinning & discoloration. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform youre doctor. Skin infections can become worse when using this pill. Notify you're physician if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or healthcare professional.
Clobex Precautions: do not use this med near eyes if you have glaucoma. Treatment with clobetasol, halobetasol propionate & augmented betamethasone dipropionate beyond two weeks consecutively is not recommended. do not use if there is an infection or sores present on the region to be treated. Though very unlikely, It's possible this medication will be absorbed in to you're bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true for children and since those who have used this for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use about this drug. Consult youre physician or healthcare professional for more details. this pill should be used cautiously during pregnancy and only if clearly needed. Discuss benefits & risks with your pharmacist. Small amounts of this drug may appear in breast milk. Consult with youre healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
Clobex drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional about all medications you may use, (both prescription and nonprescription), especially about: prednisone (or similar drugs), other skin medicines. don't start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or healthcare professional approval.
Clobex Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Clobex special notes: Inform all some your pharmacists you use (or have used) it tablet. do not share it medication with others.
If you missed Clobex dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; don't use if Its almost clock for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Clobex Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
