    Calcium supplement with vitamin d - oral

    Calcium Carbonate + D Usage: Calcium plays critical role in the body. Its essential for normal functioning about nerves, cells, muscle & bone. Vitamin D improves the absorption of calcium into the body. Calcium supplements used to treat or prevent low blood calcium levels. Calcium may be prescribed for treatment about osteoporosis (bone loss), osteomalacia (brittle bones), rickets, tetany, parathyroid disease. Calcium supplements are many times used to ensure an adequate dietary intake at conditions such as pregnancy, nursing, kidney disease, pancreatitis or during therapy with anti-seizure medications.

    How to use Calcium Carbonate + D: Take it medication orally as directed. it is best taken with or just after a meal to improve absorption. Take each dose with full glass of water.

    Calcium Carbonate + D side effects: this drug is generally well tolerated. Constipation may occur. Notify your physician if you experience: nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, dry mouth, increased thirst, increased urination. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

    Calcium Carbonate + D Precautions: Tell some your healthcare professional if you have: heart problems, kidney stones, allergies (especially drug allergies). it drug must be used as directed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding.

    Calcium Carbonate + D drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist about any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take, especially of: digoxin. Avoid taking any tetracycline antibiotic within 1 to 2 hours about taking calcium for calcium may interfere with absorption of tetracycline. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

    Calcium Carbonate + D Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea & vomiting, severe drowsiness, dry mouth, loss of appetite, metallic taste, stomach cramps, unconsciousness, diarrhea, weakness, headache, constipation, dizziness, or irritability.

    Calcium Carbonate + D special notes: Calcium supplements available in different forms which vary in the amount about calcium they contain. Ask youre healthcare professional or pharmacist to help choose the best product for you. Follow any dietary guidelines recommended.

    If you missed Calcium Carbonate + D dose: If you miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered; if It's near the clock for following dose, take both missed dose and regular scheduled dose then resume your usual dosing schedule.

    Calcium Carbonate + D Storage: Store tablets & capsules at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
