Aloxi Usage: it medication is used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy. it works by blocking hormone (serotonin) that causes vomiting.

How to use Aloxi: this medicine is injected into vein (intravenous-IV) as one-time dose 30 minutes before chemotherapy begins. Repeating a dose within 7 days isnt recommended. Aloxi medication interactions: Before using this drug, tell your doctor or pharmacist about all prescription and nonprescription/herbal goods you may use, especially about: anthracylines (e.g., doxorubicin, daunorubicin), 'water pills' (diuretics). another drugs besides palonosetron which may affect the heart rhythm (QTc prolongation in EKG) include dofetilide, pimozide, procainamide, quinidine, sotalol, & sparfloxacin among others. QTc prolongation can infrequently result in serious, rarely death, irregular heartbeats. Consult your physician or pharmacist since details.
