Acetic Acid Aluminum Usage: this drug is used to treat certain infections of outer ear.
How to use Acetic Acid Aluminum: for best effects, it medication should be used as directed. Continue using it for the full time prescribed. Stopping this drug too soon may not clear the infection & could possibly result at a reinfection. do not use it med more often or continue to use this for longer then directed. Apply ear drops to affected ears as follows: Wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the dropper or let it touch your ear. If tablet has been refrigerated, hold the bottle at your hand for a few minutes to warm it. If drops are suspension (not a solution), shake well for 10 seconds before using. Lie on your side or tilt affected ear up. Place dropper directly over the ear and administer the prescribed number of drops. To help drops roll into ear, in adults, hold the earlobe up & back & in children, hold earlobe down & back. Keep head tilted since about two minutes or insert soft cotton plug if directed to do so. do not rinse dropper.
Acetic Acid Aluminum side effects: this medication may temporarily sting or burn your ear for a minute or 2 when applied. If it continues or becomes bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify you're healthcare professional immediately if you develop: a skin rash, itching/burning/redness/swelling/pain in or around the ears. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Acetic Acid Aluminum Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: other infections, allergies (especially tablet allergies). this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss risks and benefits with your doctor.
Acetic Acid Aluminum drug interactions: Tell you're physician about any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.
Acetic Acid Aluminum Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Acetic Acid Aluminum special notes: If the condition since which it was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after several days, consult your physician.
If you missed Acetic Acid Aluminum dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Acetic Acid Aluminum Storage: this may be stored at the refrigerator or in room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. Discard this if solution turns brown, cloudy or contains particles.
