Lax X Usage: Irritant or stimulant laxatives are used to treat constipation & to clear the intestine before rectal or bowel examinations.

How to use Lax X: Take each dose with full glass of water or juice & drink plenty of fluids while taking this med. Chewable meds to be chewed thoroughly. tablets are to be swallowed whole with a full glass of water. Wafers are to be chewed. Laxatives must not be used in persons experiencing stomach cramps, nausea or vomiting.

Lax X side effects: this drug may cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rectal irritation, stomach cramps or bloating. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify your pharmacist if you experience: rectal bleeding, rapid heart rate, weakness, dizziness, fainting, sweating, skin rash, unrelieved constipation. this med can cause the urine to turn pink, red or brownish in color. do not be alarmed. It's not harmful. Prolonged, frequent or excessive use about laxatives may lead to dependency. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or pharmacist.

Lax X Precautions: Tell your pharmacist your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, heart disease, HBP, swelling (edema), any allergies (especially to tartrazine). Castor oil isnot recommended for use during pregnancy. Bulk producing laxatives are an alternative. Discuss risks & benefits with your physician. Consult your healthcare professional before using any drug while breast-feeding.

Lax X med interactions: Because laxatives may interfere with the absorption of some drugs, It's important to tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription pill you may take. Avoid use of dairy goods or antacids within one hour of taking bisacodyl tablets. do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or pharmacist approval.

Lax X Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, loss about appetite, muscle cramps, weakness, lack about feeling alert, or dry gums and eyes.

Lax X special notes: To maintain normal bowel habits, Its important to drink plenty about fluids (4 to 6 eight ounce glasses day), increase your intake of fiber and roughage & exercise regularly.

If you missed Lax X dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; don't take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
