Triaminic Cough Usage: Dextromethorphan is cough suppressant. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. it combination med is used to treat symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Triaminic Cough: Take this medication as prescribed. do not increase youre dose or take this more often than directed. Capsule dose forms should be swallowed whole.
Triaminic Cough side effects: Mild dizziness, mild drowsiness, headache, nervousness, restlessness, loss of appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur 1'st some days as your body adjusts to the tablet. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your pharmacist if you develop chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, HBP, tremors, extreme nervousness, hallucinations. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or pharmacist.
Triaminic Cough Precautions: Tell youre doctor if you have: heart disease, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, allergies (especially drug allergies). dollars this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Triaminic Cough drug interactions: Tell youre pharmacist about any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may use, including: blood pressure drugs, drugs used to reduce weight, heart pill, medication that prevents drowsiness, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). don't use it product together with an MAO inhibitor, or for two weeks after stopping MAO inhibitor drug. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or doctor approval.
Triaminic Cough Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, hyperactivity, slow or shallow breathing, blurred vision, or unconsciousness.
Triaminic Cough special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking it medication. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.
If you missed Triaminic Cough dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; don't take this if It's near time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Triaminic Cough Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store in bathroom.
