Guaifenesin Phenylephrine Hcod Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant that loosen mucus. decongestant relieves nasal stuffiness. the low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control cough. this combination medication is used to treat a cough & relieve symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Guaifenesin Phenylephrine Hcod: this drug is best taken with, or after, meal or snack. Take this medication as prescribed. do not increase your dose or take it more often than directed.
Guaifenesin Phenylephrine Hcod side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss about appetite, nausea or anxiety may occur first few days as your body adjusts to the drug. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your physician. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects.
