Endal Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Phenylephrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. it combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Endal: Take it pill by mouth. tablets should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew them. If stomach upset occurs, it may be taken with food or milk. Take this medication as directed. do not increase dose or take it more many times or longer than prescribed. It's recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Endal side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss about appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the first several days as some your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify youre doctor if you develop: chest pain, a rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficult or painful urination, difficulty sleeping. Because this medication can cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.
Endal Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, hypertension, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risk and benefits with some your doctor. It's not known if this med appears in breast milk; consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Endal drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: sleeping meds, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, drug for depression, medication since HBP. Tell your doctor if you have, in the last two weeks, taken any MAO inhibitors: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or physician approval.
Endal Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include headache, dizziness, blurred vision, unusually quick or slow heartbeat, numbness of the fingers, vomiting, drowsiness, fatigue, or seizures.
Endal special notes: don't share it product with others.
If you missed Endal dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost clock for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Endal Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
