Crantex LA Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion. Phenylephrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination drug is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Crantex LA: Take it medication by mouth. pills should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew them. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take this medication as directed. do not increase dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Crantex LA side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss about appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur 1st some days as youre body adjusts to medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify youre physician if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficult or painful urination, difficulty sleeping. Because it med may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness and avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.
Crantex LA Precautions: Tell some your healthcare professional if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risk & benefits with youre healthcare professional. It's not known if this pill appears at breast milk; consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
Crantex LA medication interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, drug for depression, tablet for high blood pressure. Tell youre doctor if you have, in last two weeks, taken any MAO inhibitors: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Crantex LA Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include headache, dizziness, blurred vision, unusually fast or slow heartbeat, numbness of fingers, vomiting, drowsiness, fatigue, or seizures.

If you missed Crantex LA dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Crantex LA Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom.
