Clobetasol Propionate Usage: this medication is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, allergies and other irritations.
How to use Clobetasol Propionate: Clean & dry the affected region before applying pill. To apply, gently massage a very small amount bit of the med into affected area & surrounding skin. don't bandage, wrap or cover area treated unless you are instructed to do so by your doctor. do not use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on children being treated with this drug in diaper area. Avoid using this drug around eyes unless directed to do so by your doctor.
Clobetasol Propionate side effects: this drug may cause burning, stinging, itching, or redness when 1st applied to the skin. this should disappear at a few days as some your body adjusts to medication. this medication may also cause skin thinning and discoloration. If any about these effects persist or worsen, inform some your pharmacist. Skin infections can become worse when using it medication. Notify you're physician if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly the following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre physician or physician.
Clobetasol Propionate Precautions: do not use this pill near the eyes if you have glaucoma. Treatment with clobetasol, halobetasol propionate and augmented betamethasone dipropionate beyond two weeks consecutively is not recommended. do not use if there is an infection or sores present on region to be treated. Though very unlikely, It's possible this medication will be absorbed into youre bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. it is especially true for kid & for those who have used this for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of this medication. Consult youre healthcare professional or doctor since more details. this pill should be used cautiously during pregnancy & only if clearly needed. Discuss benefits and risks with your doctor. Small amounts about this medication may appear in breast milk. Consult with your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Clobetasol Propionate drug interactions: Tell you're physician of every medications you may use, (both prescription and nonprescription), especially of: prednisone (or similar drugs), other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.
Clobetasol Propionate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Clobetasol Propionate special notes: Inform all your pharmacists you use (or have used) this medication. do not share it medication with others.
If you missed Clobetasol Propionate dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; don't use if It's almost clock for next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Clobetasol Propionate Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
