Zaditor Usage: this medication is used to treat itching of eyes caused by allergies (allergic conjunctivitis).
How to use Zaditor: Apply one drop to eyes, as directed by your doctor. To apply eye drops, wash hands first. To avoid contamination, do not touch dropper tip or let it touch you're eye or any other surface. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down lower eyelid to make pouch. Place dropper directly over eye and administer prescribed number of drops. look downward & gently close youre eye for 1 to two minutes. Place one finger in corner of eye near nose & apply gentle pressure. it will prevent the drug from draining away from eye. Try not to blink and don't rub eye. don't rinse the dropper. Replace cap after use. If you are using another kind about eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications. Administer eye drops before eye ointments, to allow eye drops to enter the eye. for best results, this tablet must be used routinely as directed. Continue using this for full time prescribed. Remove contact lenses before applying the eye drops. Wait at least 10 minutes after using this medication before inserting contact lenses. If you wear contact lenses, consult youre pharmacist about the use of contact lenses when the eyes are red or irritated.
Zaditor side effects: Headache, runny nose, eye redness or discharge may occur. If these persist or worsen, notify your doctor. Tell some your doctor immediately if you have any of these unlikely but serious side effects: burning or stinging of eye, dry eyes, eye pain, vision problems. Allergic reactions to this med are unlikely, but seek immeditial medical attention if they occur. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, increased itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing.
Zaditor Precautions: Tell youre pharmacist youre medical history, especially of: allergies, eye problems (e.g., glaucoma). it medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with some your doctor. Its not known whether it drug passes into breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.
Zaditor tablet interactions: Tell your pharmacist about every nonprescription and prescription drug you may use, especially of: other eye medications.
Zaditor Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Zaditor special notes: do not share it drug with others. it may harm someone.
If you missed Zaditor dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If It's near the time of next dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.
Zaditor Storage: Store at room temperature between 39 & 77 degrees F (4 to 25 degrees C) away from light & moisture.
