Guaifenesin/dextromethorphan/decongestant - oral
Genebronco D Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan suppresses cough. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. this combination pill is used to treat cough and relieve symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Genebronco D: it medication is best taken with full glass of water after meal or snack. Swallow long acting tablets and capsules whole. don't crush or chew them because the long action will be destroyed and the chance about side effects will be increased. Take this pill as prescribed. do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed.
Genebronco D side effects: Mild dizziness, mild drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, dry mouth or nervousness may occur. If any about these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, painful or difficult urination, tremors, extreme nervousness, trouble sleeping. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or doctor.
Genebronco D Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, any drug allergies. cash this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your physician promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. this pill should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with some your doctor. this medication may be excreted into breast milk. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Genebronco D med interactions: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medications you use, especially: drug for blood pressure, MAO inhibitors (e.g., phenelzine, furazolidone, moclobemide, linezolid, procarbazine, selegiline), sibutramine, narcotic pain medicines (e.g., codeine, morphine). Limit your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking it medication. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or doctor approval.
Genebronco D Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, loss of coordination, unusual movements about eyes, slow or shallow breathing, unconsciousness, slurred speech, change in behavior, convulsions, unusual slow or fast heartbeat, chest pain, increased thirst, fatigue, muscle weakness, headache, fever, chills, large pupils, anxiety, sweating, or tremors.
Genebronco D special notes: Drink plenty about fluids, especially water while taking it tablet. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.
If you missed Genebronco D dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if it is near the clock for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.
Genebronco D Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. don't store in the bathroom.
