Ru Tuss Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. Antihistamines relieve runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose and throat and itchy, watery eyes. Anticholinergics have a drying effect on mucous secretions. it combination pill is used to treat symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Ru Tuss: Take it medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take this more many times than directed. this drug is best taken with full glass of water after a meal or snack. Long-acting tablets & capsules should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew them or long action may be destroyed & chance of side effects increased.

Ru Tuss side effects: Dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, blurred vision, constipation or dry mouth, nose & eyes may occur first several days as youre body adjusts to the tablet. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

Ru Tuss Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: pre-existing kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, any allergies. dollars this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult some your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Ru Tuss drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: tablet for blood pressure, drug since depression such as MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline). Tell your doctor if you take drugs that cause drowsiness such as: medicine for sleep, sedatives, tranquilizers, anti-anxiety drugs (e.g., diazepam), narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), psychiatric medicines (e.g., phenothiazines or tricyclics), anti- seizure medications (e.g., carbamazepine), muscle relaxants. Limit your intake about alcoholic beverages while taking it drug. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or doctor approval.

Ru Tuss Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea/vomiting, headache, weakness, disorientation, hyperactivity, restlessness, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, fast breathing, fever, hot dry & flushed skin, seizures, or coma.

Ru Tuss special notes: Drink plenty about fluids, especially water while taking this tablet. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

If you missed Ru Tuss dose: If you miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered; don't take it if it is near clock since the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Ru Tuss Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store in the bathroom.
