Miconazole Nitrate Usage: it drug is an antifungal used to treat 'yeast' (candida) infections about vagina.

How to use Miconazole Nitrate: Using applicator provided, insert cream or suppository high in to vagina, except during pregnancy. Detailed instructions should be included in package. Read & follow them closely. Continue using this medication for complete period as prescribed, even during the menstrual period. Stopping therapy too soon may lead to re-infection.

Miconazole Nitrate side effects: this med may cause irritation, itching, burning, or stinging when 1st used. it should disappear as your body adjusts to pill. If these effects persist or worsen, inform you're pharmacist. Headache & body ache have also been reported. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

Miconazole Nitrate Precautions: suppositories may interact with the latex of a diaphragm, cervical cap, or condom. If you use ether of these methods of birth control, it is best to use cream form of this medication or use another method about birth control. this medication should be used cautiously during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss risks & benefits with your pharmacist. It's not known if it medication appears in breast milk. Consult with you're doctor before breast-feeding.

Miconazole Nitrate drug interactions: Inform you're pharmacist about all drugs (prescription & nonprescription) you use, especially: warfarin. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Miconazole Nitrate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Miconazole Nitrate special notes: this pill is prescribed since youre current condition only. do not use it for another infection without your doctor's approval. another infection later on may require a different drug. To prevent re-infection, refrain from sexual intercourse or use condom during treatment.

If you missed Miconazole Nitrate dose: If you miss dose, insert as soon as remembered; do not use if this is almost time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Miconazole Nitrate Storage: Store at room temperature away from heat & direct light. do not freeze.
