Warning: Because this form of morphine is very powerful, It's not recommended for short-term pain relief. this drug should be given only under close medical supervision, especially for 1st 24 hours following the 1-st dose & when the reservoir is being refilled or manipulated. do not substitute this medication for the less powerful versions about morphine. Serious overdose, even death, could occur.

Infumorph Usage: it medication is used for pain relief.

How to use Infumorph: Before using this medication, inspect it for floating particles or discoloration. don't use if you find either. do not substitute this for other lower strength morphine injections. Pain medications work best in preventing pain before this occurs. one time pain becomes intense, pill is not as effective in relieving it. Use this medication exactly as directed by youre healthcare professional. do not increase youre dose, use it more frequently or use it for longer period of time than prescribed because this drug can be habit-forming. Also, if used for an extended period of time, don't suddenly stop using this drug with-out your doctor's approval. Over time, it drug may not work as well. Consult your physician if this medication isnot relieving the pain sufficiently.

Infumorph side effects: can cause constipation, lightheadedness, dizziness, drowsiness, stomach upset, nausea or flushing. If these symptoms persist or worsen, inform you're doctor. Notify some your doctor if you develop: irregular heartbeat, anxiety, tremors, seizures. in the unlikely part you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immeditial medical attention. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

Infumorph Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: liver problems, lung disease (e.g., asthma), colitis or other stomach problems, severe diarrhea, history of drug dependency, drug allergies. If youre skin should accidentally come in to contact with this medication, remove the surrounding clothing & rinse affected area with water. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcohol consumption because this may add to dizziness/drowsiness effects of this pill. Caution is advised when using it drug in the elderly because they may be more sensitive to effects about the drug. this drug must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with you're doctor. this med may be excreted in to breast milk. Consult you're pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Infumorph drug interactions: Tell some your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take, including: sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping tablets, other narcotic pain relievers, pills for depression, phenothiazines, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), cimetidine. do not start or stop any medicine with-out healthcare professional or physician approval.

Infumorph Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include cold & clammy skin, slowed breathing, slowed heartbeat, drowsiness, dizziness, lightheadedness, deep sleep, and loss of consciousness.

Infumorph special notes: To prevent constipation, increase your intake of fiber, drink plenty of water & exercise. Stool softeners may be helpful. do not share it drug with others. It's against law.

If you missed Infumorph dose: If you miss dose, use this as soon as remembered; do not use if it is almost clock since next dose. Instead, skip missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Infumorph Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from light & moisture. Keep out about reach of children.
