Betatar Usage: Coal tar shampoo is used to treat the itching and skin flaking/irritation caused by certain skin conditions of head & scalp (e.g., dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis).
How to use Betatar: Apply it medication onto hair and scalp usually 2 times weekly; or as directed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well before each application/shampoo. Wet youre hair thoroughly with water & rub the shampoo into lather on you're hair & scalp. Rinse your hair well with water & repeat. it medicated shampoo is since use on the scalp & hair only. do not use if you have open skin (e.g., sores/wounds) on your scalp. Avoid getting any of this shampoo in your eyes. If eye contact occurs, rinse your eyes thoroughly with water. If eye irritation persists or worsens, contact youre healthcare professional promptly. Avoid getting any about this shampoo on youre clothes. it product may stain you're clothing.
Betatar side effects: Minor skin/scalp irritation or darkened/stained skin may occur. If any about these effects persist or worsen, notify your healthcare professional promptly. Tell some your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: large and/or painful skin sores/pimples on the scalp. An allergic reaction to this product is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if this occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.
Betatar Precautions: Tell you're physician your medical history, especially of: other skin conditions, any allergies. this medication may make you more sensitive to sun. Avoid prolonged sun exposure or wear protective clothing or a hat when outdoors. Tell some your pharmacist if you pregnant before using this medicated shampoo. it is unknown if it drug passes into breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.
Betatar medication interactions: Tell your physician about every prescription and nonprescription tablet you may use, especially: other medicated shampoos or topical products. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Betatar Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it product may be harmful if swallowed.
Betatar special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Betatar dose: If you miss a dose, use this as soon as you remember. If this is near the clock of following dose, skip the missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.
Betatar Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 & 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
