Antihistamines with decongestants - oral
Viravan T Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Viravan T: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. It's recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this med, unless youre physician instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or are accompanied by high fever, notify you're doctor. don't increase dose or take this more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Viravan T side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability and dry mouth and nose. These effects should subside as you're body adjusts to the drug. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in the ears, difficulty urinating. can cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging at activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.
Viravan T Precautions: Tell you're doctor your medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, tablet allergies. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. don't drink alcoholic beverages. this drug must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your physician before breast-feeding. do not give this medication to kid younger than 6 years of age unless directed to do so by healthcare professional.
Viravan T drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist what medications you take, especially of: high blood pressure drugs, anti-seizure medications, antidepressants, sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain drug, other cold or allergy pill. do not take it drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or doctor approval.
Viravan T Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose at kid may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.
Viravan T special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Viravan T dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; don't take if this is almost time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Viravan T Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture.
