    Antibacterials - ophthalmic, otic

    Ocusulf 10 Usage: it drug is used to treat infections of the eye (ophthalmic) or ear (otic).

    How to use Ocusulf 10: Use it as prescribed. Continue using it since full time prescribed. Stopping therapy too soon may result at a reinfection. To apply eye or ear tablet, wash hands 1'st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the dropper or tube or let it touch the affected area. Shake drops well before using. Hold ointment tube in you're hand for few minutes to make the pill flow easier. EYE medication: Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. for drops, place dropper directly over eye & administer the prescribed number of drops. watch downward & gently close you're eye since 1 to 2 minutes. With eye ointment, place medication inside lower lid using sweeping motion. Close eye & roll eyeball. Remove excess ointment with a tissue. Try not to blink & do not rub eye. If you are using another kind of eye med, wait five to ten minutes before applying. EAR medication: Lie on your side or turn affected ear upward to make application easier. Place prescribed number of drops in ear. Avoid touching ear canal. Keep the ear tilted since one to 2 minutes. small piece of clean cotton may be placed in ear to prevent drops from escaping.

    Ocusulf 10 side effects: this med may temporarily sting when first applied. If this effect persists or worsens, inform your doctor promptly. at unlikely episode you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immeditial medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, redness, swelling or discharge (including the eye or ear area), trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

    Ocusulf 10 Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially: every previous eye or ear problems, if you use contact lenses, any allergies. Vision may be temporarily blurred after applying eye med. Use caution driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. it & every medications should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy or when breast-feeding. Consult with you're pharmacist if you pregnant or breast-feeding.

    Ocusulf 10 drug interactions: Tell your doctor of all medications you may use (both prescription and nonprescription), especially of: silver preparations, all other eye or ear antibiotic or corticosteroid (e.g., hydrocortisone) meds. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Ocusulf 10 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Ocusulf 10 special notes: Throw away any unused part of your prescription. do not save it to use for another infection. don't allow anyone else to use this tablet. the infection may spread to other human if you accidentally contaminate medication.

    If you missed Ocusulf 10 dose: If you miss dose, apply it as soon as remembered; do not use if Its almost time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Ocusulf 10 Storage: Depending upon manufacturer, the product may be stored at room temperature or refrigerated. Ask youre physician. do not store in the bathroom. do not freeze.
