Guiatussin Ac Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Codeine is used to quiet cough. this combination medication is used to control cough and congestion associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.

How to use Guiatussin Ac: Take it medication with food if stomach upset occurs. Take it drug as directed. do not increase the dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. it is strong cough drug & must only be used since the condition & by the human for which it is prescribed. it shouldnot be used for just any cough. it is helpful to drink plenty about fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.

Guiatussin Ac side effects: Drowsiness, constipation, stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, dizziness or headache may occur 1st some days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: a skin rash, itching, rapid heart rate. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your pharmacist or pharmacist.

Guiatussin Ac Precautions: Tell you're doctor youre medical history, especially about: lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), substance abuse, allergies (especially to narcotics). Guiatussin Ac Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slowed breathing, drowsiness, deep sleep or loss of consciousness, cold & clammy skin, dry mouth, and slow pulse.
