Triaminic Chest Congestion Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Decongestants (e.g., pseudoephedrine) help relieve nasal congestion. this combination drug is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Triaminic Chest Congestion: Take it med by mouth as directed. do not increase the dose or take this more often or longer than prescribed. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Triaminic Chest Congestion side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss about appetite, nervousness, dizziness or headache may occur first few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify you're pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.
Triaminic Chest Congestion Precautions: Tell youre pharmacist if you have: heart problems, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating or an enlarged prostate, seizures, allergies (especially drug allergies). Because this tablet can cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate it effect. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. it is not known if this drug appears in breast milk; consult youre pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Triaminic Chest Congestion drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take, including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, medication for depression, HBP drugs. Tell your pharmacist if you have taken any MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) at last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Triaminic Chest Congestion Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.

If you missed Triaminic Chest Congestion dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost clock since the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Triaminic Chest Congestion Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat and sunlight. don't store at bathroom.
