Triaminic Am Cough & Decongest Usage: Dextromethorphan is cough suppressant. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. it combination drug is used to treat symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Triaminic Am Cough & Decongest: Take this medication as prescribed. do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed. Capsule dose forms should be swallowed whole.

Triaminic Am Cough & Decongest side effects: Mild dizziness, mild drowsiness, headache, nervousness, restlessness, loss of appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur first several days as your body adjusts to the med. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, tremors, extreme nervousness, hallucinations. Triaminic Am Cough & Decongest drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription tablet you may use, including: blood pressure drugs, medications used to reduce weight, heart medication, medication that prevents drowsiness, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). do not use this product together with an MAO inhibitor, or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAO inhibitor drug. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

Triaminic Am Cough & Decongest Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, hyperactivity, slow or shallow breathing, blurred vision, or unconsciousness.
