Clioquinol Hydrocortisone Usage: it med is combination steroid & anti-infective used topically to treat certain skin disorders & relieve associated itching & swelling.
How to use Clioquinol Hydrocortisone: it drug is for topical use only. Clean & dry affected region as directed. then apply small amount bit about the medication on skin. a thin layer is all that is needed. Wash hands after use. do not bandage, wrap or cover area treated unless you instructed to do so by you're doctor. do not use large amounts, apply this more many times or use this for a longer period than directed. your condition will not clear faster, but chance for side effects may be increased. Use carefully if applying to the face. Avoid contact with the eyes, nose & mouth.
Clioquinol Hydrocortisone side effects: this drug can cause burning, redness or rash. Notify your doctor if you develop any of these symptoms. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.
Clioquinol Hydrocortisone Precautions: Tell your pharmacist youre medical history, especially of: infection to area being treated, any allergies you have. Though very unlikely, it is possible this medication will be absorbed into you're bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true for child & for those who have used it for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies since up to one year after stopping use of this drug. Consult your doctor or pharmacist since more details. it tablet may stain clothes, skin, nails or hair. it medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with you're healthcare professional. it is not known if this drug is found in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Clioquinol Hydrocortisone drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may use, including: other skin products. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or doctor approval.
Clioquinol Hydrocortisone Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Clioquinol Hydrocortisone special notes: If condition for which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after a few days, notify your pharmacist. Inform all your doctors you use (or have used) this medication. do not share it medication with others.
If you missed Clioquinol Hydrocortisone dose: If you miss dose, apply this as soon as remembered; do not apply it if It's near time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Clioquinol Hydrocortisone Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat. check expiration date on tube and discard any expired medication.
