Yodoxin Usage: this drug is used to treat certain types about parasitic infections in the intestines.
How to use Yodoxin: Take this medication by mouth as directed usually 5 times day after meals for twenty days. this works best when medicine is taken consistently. this should be taken in evenly spaced intervals around the clock. Ask you're doctor or pharmacist to help determine dosing schedule best for you. Take this medication for the full time prescribed. do not stop taking this without you're doctor's approval. Stopping therapy too soon may result in ineffective treatment.
Yodoxin side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, diarrhea, vomiting, headache, dizziness or rectal itching may occur first some days as some your body adjusts to drug. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify your physician if you develop: skin rash, hives, itching, fever, chills, vision changes, tingling of fingers or toes. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Yodoxin Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: liver disease, kidney disease, eye trouble, thyroid disorders, any allergies (especially to iodine or shell fish). this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. since small amounts of this med appear at breast milk, consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
Yodoxin tablet interactions: Tell your doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: thyroid drugs. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or healthcare professional approval.
Yodoxin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Yodoxin special notes: Improvement in symptoms may occur within few days to few weeks. If condition for which this was prescribed does not improve after few weeks or appears to be worse, notify your doctor.
If you missed Yodoxin dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Yodoxin Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat, light & moisture. do not store in bathroom.
