    Naphazoline with pheniramine - ophthalmic

    (nah-fazz-oh-leen with fen-irr-uh-meen, off-thal-mick)

    Ocuhist Usage: Naphazoline is decongestant & pheniramine is an antihistamine. it combination is used to relieve redness, puffiness, itchy & watering eyes associated with colds, allergies or eye irritations.

    How to use Ocuhist: To apply eye drops, wash hands 1'st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the dropper or let it touch your eye. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. Place dropper directly over eye and administer prescribed number of drops. watch downward & gently close youre eye for 1 to 2 minutes. Place one finger at the corner of the eye near nose & apply gentle pressure. this will prevent the med from draining away from the eye. Try not to blink & don't rub eye. do not rinse the dropper. If you are using another kind of eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other eye medications.

    Ocuhist side effects: this drug may temporarily sting your eyes when you 1'st use it. If stinging continues or becomes bothersome, inform you're doctor. Vision may be blurred or unstable for a several minutes after applying eye drops. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Inform youre physician if you develop: severe eye pain, headache, redness, itching or swelling in or around eyes, vision problems. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or physician.

    Ocuhist Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: eye problems, high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid disorder, heart disease, asthma, allergies (especially to sulfites). this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss the risks & benefits with your doctor.

    Ocuhist tablet interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take, especially: drug for blood pressure, depression. If you using another kind about eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or healthcare professional approval.

    Ocuhist Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Ocuhist special notes: do not share this product with others.

    If you missed Ocuhist dose: do not double dose if missed, but use it as soon as remembered. However, if this is almost time for the next dose, skip missed dose & resume youre regular dosing schedule.

    Ocuhist Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture. do not freeze.
