Genasoft Usage: this med helps fluids to mix with stool to keep them from becoming hard or dry. It's used to treat constipation.

How to use Genasoft: Swallow capsules and tablets whole with full glass of water or juice. the liquid & syrup forms must be given in six to 8 ounces about milk or juice to prevent throat irritation. Relief is usually obtained in 1 to 3 days after 1st dose.

Genasoft side effects: this medication may cause stomach ache, cramping or irritated throat (liquid and syrup forms). If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're healthcare professional. Notify your doctor if you experience: skin rash, rectal bleeding, lack of bowel movements. Frequent use about laxatives can cause dehydration & loss of essential nutrients. Symptoms include muscle cramps, muscle weakness or dizziness. Maintain an adequate fluid intake while using it medication. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.

Genasoft Precautions: do not take aspirin (unless prescribed by your doctor) or mineral oil while taking stool softeners. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, do not take over-the-counter stool softeners (or any other nonprescription medication) without obtaining you're doctor's advice.

Genasoft drug interactions: this drug is not recommended for use with mineral oil. Ask some your pharmacist or healthcare professional for more details. Tell your healthcare professional about all prescription and nonprescription drug you may use, especially aspirin.

Genasoft Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Genasoft special notes: Laxatives should only be used temporarily until normal bowel habits return. Prolonged use can lead to laxative dependence. To prevent constipation: drink four to 6 glasses of water per day, include bulk or roughage in your diet, and exercise regularly.

If you missed Genasoft dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost clock for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Genasoft Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture.
