Antipyrine with benzocaine - otic

Dolotic Usage: it med contains benzocaine, topical anesthetic which numbs the skin, & antipyrine, pain reliever. It's used to relieve pain & discomfort of certain ear problems.

How to use Dolotic: it medication is used in ears as directed. To administer properly, lie on your side or tilt the head so the ear faces up. Put the prescribed number of drops in to the ear using dropper provided. don't insert dropper into ear & avoid touching dropper to the ear or any another surface. To allow the drops to run in to ear canal, hold earlobe up and back in adults and down & back in children. Keep the ear tilted since 1 to 2 minutes. soft cotton plug may be gently inserted into the ear to keep the ear drops in place. Use plug only if directed to do so.

Dolotic side effects: Minor stinging, burning or tenderness of ear may occur when it is 1-st used. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, or if your symptoms do not improve within few days, inform your doctor. Notify youre physician if any about following effects occur: irritation, rash, itching. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're healthcare professional or physician.

Dolotic Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have any about following conditions: infection, any allergies. this medication must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss risks & benefits with some your healthcare professional.

Dolotic drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription pill you may take. don't start or stop any medicine with out doctor or doctor approval.

Dolotic Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed. If you or someone you know may have taken this medicine by mouth, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Dolotic special notes: for comfort, drops may be warmed to body temperature by rolling the bottle at your hands for few minutes before using them. don't heat in a microwave or place in hot water.

If you missed Dolotic dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if Its almost time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Dolotic Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture. Avoid freezing.
