Neomycin Bacitracin Poly HC Usage: this drug is used to treat or prevent eye infections.
How to use Neomycin Bacitracin Poly HC: for best effects, this medication must be used as directed. Continue using it for full time prescribed. Stopping this medication too soon may not clear infection & could possibly result in a reinfection. Apply eye ointment to the affected eyes as follows: Wash hands 1-st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch tube tip or let it touch your eye. Rolling the ointment tube in your hands for a minute will make ointment flow easier. Tilt your head back, gaze upward and pull down lower eyelid to make a pouch. Place 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ointment into pouch by squeezing the tube gently. Close the eye & roll eyeball in every directions to spread the drug. Try not to blink & do not rub the eye. Wipe the tip of ointment tube with a tissue to remove excess med before capping it. If you are using an eye drop in addition to this pill, apply eye drops 1'st and wait in least five minutes before applying it eye ointment. If you using another type of eye ointment, wait in least ten minutes after using it medication before applying this.
Neomycin Bacitracin Poly HC side effects: this tablet may temporarily sting or burn your eyes for minute or two when first applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome, inform youre pharmacist. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable for a period after applying eye ointment. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your pharmacist immediately if you develop: skin rash, itching/burning/redness/pain/swelling in or around eyes, vision problems. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Neomycin Bacitracin Poly HC Precautions: Tell some your physician if you have: other eye problems, allergies (especially to any antibiotics or sulfites). it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss the risks and benefits with some your doctor.
Neomycin Bacitracin Poly HC tablet interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Neomycin Bacitracin Poly HC Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Neomycin Bacitracin Poly HC special notes: If condition for which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after some days, consult your pharmacist.
If you missed Neomycin Bacitracin Poly HC dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use it if It's near time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Neomycin Bacitracin Poly HC Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat. USD the expiration date on the tube & discard any expired medication.
