Imiglucerase - injection

Cerezyme Usage: this medication is an enzyme used to replace a deficiency in persons with Gaucher's disease. medication improves symptoms and reduces complications of the disease.
How to use Cerezyme: this drug is given by injection into a vein over 1 to two hour period. the frequency of dosing is based on your condition & response to treatment. Dosing may be as much of times as 3 times per week or as small amount as one time every two weeks. Follow you're doctor's directions carefully.
Cerezyme side effects: this med may cause headache, nausea, stomach upset or dizziness. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. An allergic reaction to it drug is unlikely, but seek immeditial medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, hives, swelling, flushing, dizziness, trouble breathing, chest pain. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.
Cerezyme Precautions: Tell some your doctor if you have: other illnesses, allergies (especially medication allergies). this drug may make you dizzy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. this pill should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. It's not known if this drug appears in breast milk. Consult youre doctor before breast-feeding.
Cerezyme drug interactions: Tell you're doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.
Cerezyme Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Cerezyme special notes: do not share this drug with others.
If you missed Cerezyme dose: Try to use each dose as scheduled. If you miss a dose, consult youre health care provider to establish a new dosing schedule. As with the majority of the meds, don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Cerezyme Storage: this tablet is prepared just prior to use. Vials are stored in the refrigerator. After reconstituting, discard any unused portion. Discard vial if particles or discoloration present. do not use after expiration date on vial.
