Tyzine Usage: this medication promotes nasal drainage & relieves nasal stuffiness. It's used to relieve symptoms associated with cold, hay fever, allergies, sinus infections & other related conditions. it is also used to relieve plugged ears.
How to use Tyzine: it medication is used in the nose as directed. To apply nasal drops, first blow your nose to help improve penetration of the pill. Lie flat on bed or couch with your head hanging over the edge. Apply the correct number of drops to each nostril affected being careful not to touch the container to the inside about the nostril. Move your head from side to side for minute or two. don't use it more often than directed or increase your dose. Therapy usually lasts for 3 to 5 days. Excessive use about this drug can actually increase nasal congestion.
Tyzine side effects: Stinging, burning, sneezing, increased nasal discharge, drying about the nostrils, and altered taste may occur. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're physician. Notify you're pharmacist if you develop: rapid or pounding heartbeat, dizziness, trouble sleeping, shaking about the hands, tremors, unusual weakness. this med can cause dizziness. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact you're healthcare professional or doctor.
Tyzine Precautions: Tell you're healthcare professional if you have: history of heart disease, thyroid disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, seizure disorder, glaucoma, any allergies (especially to sulfites). the elderly & children may be more susceptible to the effects of this medication. Use it with caution. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your doctor. since small amounts of it medication found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Tyzine drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, especially: HBP medicine, anti-depressants, cough-and-cold medicine, allergy med. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Tyzine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, unconsciousness, sweating, dizziness, headache, or unusually fast heartbeat.
Tyzine special notes: there are various nasal decongestants available, many of with-out a prescription. Discuss with you're doctor or physician the best product since you.
If you missed Tyzine dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Tyzine Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 & 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom. do not share container with anyone else. Throw away container when drug is no longer required.
