Benzocaine/antipyrine/phenylephrine - otic

Tympagesic Usage: Benzocaine is an anesthetic. Antipyrine is pain reliever. Phenylephrine relieves congestion. this combination drug is used to relieve pain, swelling & irritation at the ear.
How to use Tympagesic: for best effects, this tablet must be used as directed. Apply ear drops to the affected ears as follows: Wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper or let it touch youre ear. If the drug has been refrigerated, hold bottle in your hand for a some minutes to warm it. If drops are suspension (not a solution) shake well for 10 seconds before using. Lie on your side or tilt the affected ear up. Place dropper directly over the ear and administer the prescribed number about drops. To help drops roll into ear, in adults, hold earlobe up & back and in children, hold earlobe down and back. Keep head tilted for minute and insert a soft cotton plug loosely into the ear. do not rinse the dropper.
Tympagesic side effects: this drug may temporarily sting or burn your ear for minute or two when applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify some your doctor immediately if you develop: skin rash, itching/burning/redness in or around ears. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.
Tympagesic Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: other infections, allergies (especially med allergies). this med must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss risks and benefits with your healthcare professional.
Tympagesic drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Tympagesic Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed. If you or someone you know may have taken it medicine by mouth, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Tympagesic special notes: If the condition for which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after some days, consult your doctor.
If you missed Tympagesic dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near the clock for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Tympagesic Storage: this may be stored in the refrigerator or at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. Discard it if the solution turns brown, cloudy or contains particles.
