R Tannic S Usage: Antihistamines provide relief about symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining and improve breathing.
How to use R Tannic S: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this med, unless your healthcare professional instructs you otherwise. If symptoms don't improve after 7 days or accompanied by high fever, notify your physician. do not increase the dose or take this more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
R Tannic S side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability and dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform youre pharmacist. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in the ears, difficulty urinating. can cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly and be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
R Tannic S Precautions: Tell you're physician you're medical history, especially about: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, med allergies. money this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult youre pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. this med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. don't give this drug to a children younger then 6 years of age unless directed to do so by physician.
R Tannic S tablet interactions: Tell you're physician what medications you take, especially about: HBP medications, anti-seizure tablets, antidepressants, sleeping meds, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain medication, another cold or allergy drug. do not take it med if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within the last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or healthcare professional approval.
R Tannic S Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

If you missed R Tannic S dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; don't take if it is almost time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
