    Corticosteroids - topical

    Betamethasone Dp Augmented Usage: it drug is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, allergies & other irritations.

    How to use Betamethasone Dp Augmented: Clean and dry affected area before applying med. To apply, gently massage a small amount about medication into affected region & surrounding skin. do not bandage, wrap or cover the region treated unless you are instructed to do so by your physician. do not use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on children being treated with this medication in diaper region. Avoid using this medication around eyes unless directed to do so by your pharmacist.

    Betamethasone Dp Augmented side effects: this med may cause burning, stinging, itching, or redness when 1-st applied to skin. it should disappear in few days as you're body adjusts to drug. this medication may also cause skin thinning and discoloration. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform your pharmacist. Skin infections can become worse when using this medication. Notify you're healthcare professional if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

    Betamethasone Dp Augmented Precautions: do not use it pill near eyes if you have glaucoma. Treatment with clobetasol, halobetasol propionate & augmented betamethasone dipropionate beyond two weeks consecutively is not recommended. do not use if there is an infection or sores present on area to be treated. Though very unlikely, It's possible this med will be absorbed in to your bloodstream. it may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true for children & for those who have used it for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. it precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of this drug. Consult you're doctor or pharmacist for more following details. this medication should be used cautiously during pregnancy & only if clearly needed. Discuss the benefits & risks with your pharmacist. Small amounts of this medication may appear in breast milk. Consult with your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

    Betamethasone Dp Augmented drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist about all medications you may use, (both prescription and nonprescription), especially about: prednisone (or similar drugs), another skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine with out physician or physician approval.

    Betamethasone Dp Augmented Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Betamethasone Dp Augmented special notes: Inform all your pharmacists you use (or have used) it drug. do not share it drug with others.

    If you missed Betamethasone Dp Augmented dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if it is almost clock since following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Betamethasone Dp Augmented Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.

    Medical alert: your condition may cause complications in medical emergency.
