Triamcinolone Acetonide Usage: this medication is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, allergies & other irritations.
How to use Triamcinolone Acetonide: Clean & dry affected region before applying pill. To apply, gently massage little of the drug into affected region and surrounding skin. do not bandage, wrap or cover area treated unless you are instructed to do so by youre doctor. do not use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on children being treated with it drug in diaper area. Avoid using it pill around eyes unless directed to do so by your doctor.
Triamcinolone Acetonide side effects: this pill can cause burning, stinging, itching, or redness when 1st applied to the skin. this should disappear in a some days as your body adjusts to the medication. this tablet may also cause skin thinning & discoloration. If any about these effects persist or worsen, inform youre doctor. Skin infections can become worse when using this pill. Notify your doctor if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or doctor.
Triamcinolone Acetonide Precautions: do not use this medication near eyes if you have glaucoma. Treatment with clobetasol, halobetasol propionate & augmented betamethasone dipropionate beyond two weeks consecutively isn't recommended. do not use if there is an infection or sores present on the area to be treated. Though very unlikely, it is possible this medication will be absorbed into some your bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. it is especially true since children & for those who have used this for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of it med. Consult you're physician or pharmacist for more details. this medication should be used cautiously during pregnancy & only if clearly needed. Discuss benefits & risks with your physician. Small amounts about this tablet may appear in breast milk. Consult with you're healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
Triamcinolone Acetonide drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of all medications you may use, (both prescription & nonprescription), especially about: prednisone (or similar drugs), other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.
Triamcinolone Acetonide Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Triamcinolone Acetonide special notes: Inform all your pharmacists you use (or have used) it medication. do not share this medication with others.
If you missed Triamcinolone Acetonide dose: If you miss dose, use this as soon as remembered; do not use if it is almost time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Triamcinolone Acetonide Storage: Store in room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
