Quindal HD Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control a cough. the antihistamine is for relief from sneezing, runny nose, water eyes. this combination product is used to treat symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, hay fever & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Quindal HD: Take this drug as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take it more often than directed. this medication is best taken with a full glass of water after a meal or snack.
Quindal HD side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, stomach upset or dry mouth may occur 1-st several days as your body adjusts to drug. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your physician. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify some your physician if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations, breathing trouble. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.
Quindal HD Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, history of drug dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this medication causes you to feel drowsy. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your physician promptly if this contains PPA or if you uncertain it product has PPA. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with youre doctor. since small amounts of this medication are found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Quindal HD drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping tablets, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), cimetidine, narcotic pain med (e.g., codeine). Limit your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking this med. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or physician approval.
Quindal HD Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, headache, dizziness, weakness, profuse sweating, slow or quick heartbeat, slow or shallow breathing, hyperactivity, fever, seizures, or unconsciousness.
Quindal HD special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking it medication. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.
If you missed Quindal HD dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if Its near clock for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Quindal HD Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store at the bathroom.
