    Guiatuss Ac Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion. Codeine is used to quiet a cough. this combination medication is used to control cough & congestion associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.

    How to use Guiatuss Ac: Take this medication with food if stomach upset occurs. Take it medication as directed. do not increase dose or take it more many times or longer than prescribed. it is strong cough medication and must only be used for condition & by person since which It's prescribed. it should not be used for just any cough. it is helpful to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.

    Guiatuss Ac side effects: Drowsiness, constipation, stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, dizziness or headache may occur the first few days as you're body adjusts to the drug. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your healthcare professional. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: skin rash, itching, rapid heart rate. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're physician or pharmacist.

    Guiatuss Ac Precautions: Tell you're pharmacist your medical history, especially of: lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), substance abuse, allergies (especially to narcotics). Because it tablet can cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. for Its not known if this drug is found in breast milk; consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

    Guiatuss Ac drug interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: sedatives, tranquilizers, narcotic pain relievers, sleeping meds, seizure drug, muscle relaxants, drugs for depression, cimetidine, quinidine. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Guiatuss Ac Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slowed breathing, drowsiness, deep sleep or loss about consciousness, cold & clammy skin, dry mouth, & slow pulse.

    Guiatuss Ac special notes: do not share it product with others.

    If you missed Guiatuss Ac dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the doses.

    Guiatuss Ac Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture and heat. do not store in bathroom.
