Hm Pink Bismuth Suspension Usage: this medication is used to treat indigestion, nausea, diarrhea; to relieve stomach cramps & to prevent traveler's diarrhea.

How to use Hm Pink Bismuth Suspension: liquid form of this medication must be shaken well before pouring each dose. Chewable pills must be chewed thoroughly or dissolved at the mouth. Non-chewable pills & caplets must be swallowed whole with a glass about water. the dose may be repeated every 30 minutes to one hour as needed but no more than 8 doses should be taken in a 24 hour period.

Hm Pink Bismuth Suspension side effects: this med is generally well tolerated. Stools may appear gray-black in color while taking this med. do not be alarmed. this will disappear when the drug is stopped. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or pharmacist.

Hm Pink Bismuth Suspension Precautions: Tell youre physician if you have: other illnesses, allergies (especially med allergies). this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your physician. since small amounts about it medication are found in breast milk, consult youre doctor before breast-feeding.

Hm Pink Bismuth Suspension med interactions: Tell youre doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: aspirin, blood thinners, tetracycline antibiotics, medications for diabetes, medications for gout. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

Hm Pink Bismuth Suspension Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include ringing in ears, dizziness, confusion, and coma.

Hm Pink Bismuth Suspension special notes: If condition for which this was prescribed does not improve after 2 days or becomes worse or if a fever is present, notify your pharmacist.

If you missed Hm Pink Bismuth Suspension dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Hm Pink Bismuth Suspension Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. liquid may be stored in the refrigerator to improve the taste, but Its not necessary. don't store at the bathroom.
