Quindal Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Phenylephrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. it combination pill is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Quindal: Take this medication by mouth. meds should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew them. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take this medication as directed. do not increase the dose or take this more often or longer then prescribed. It's recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.
Quindal side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss about appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the 1st several days as your body adjusts to medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficult or painful urination, difficulty sleeping. Because this drug can cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.
Quindal Precautions: Tell some your healthcare professional if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, hypertension, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risk & benefits with your physician. it isn't known if this medication appears in breast milk; consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Quindal medication interactions: Tell your pharmacist about any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, medication since depression, medication for HBP. Tell you're doctor if you have, in last two weeks, taken any MAO inhibitors: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or doctor approval.
Quindal Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include headache, dizziness, blurred vision, unusually fast or slow heartbeat, numbness of the fingers, vomiting, drowsiness, fatigue, or seizures.
Quindal special notes: do not share it product with others.
If you missed Quindal dose: If you miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Quindal Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
