Pancrelipase - oral enteric coated capsule

Pancrelipase Usage: this medication contains digestive enzymes which help digest & absorb foods. it is used to treat symptoms about pancreatitis or other various digestive disorders.

How to use Pancrelipase: it drug works best if taken with or after meals. Swallow capsule whole. do not crush or chew it. the capsule may also be opened, the contents sprinkled on small amount of soft food (e.g., gelatin, applesauce) & the food swallowed immediately without chewing. do not mix contents about the capsule with alkaline foods such as milk or ice cream because protective coating may dissolve prematurely. Antacids may hinder effects about this med. do not take an antacid at same time as this drug. Wait at least two hours between administration.

Pancrelipase side effects: Generally this drug is very well tolerated & side effects are mild if they occur. Diarrhea, cramping or stomach upset may occur when starting treatment. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your healthcare professional. Although very unlikely to occur, notify your physician if you develop: a skin rash, severe stomach distress. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

Pancrelipase Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: allergies (especially to pork). this medication must be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss risks & benefits with you're doctor. it is not known if this pill appears in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Pancrelipase drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist about all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use. don't start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or healthcare professional approval.

Pancrelipase Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Pancrelipase special notes: do not share it product with others.

If you missed Pancrelipase dose: Take any missed dose as soon as possible but not if it is almost time for the following dose. If Its time for next dose, skip the missed dose and resume youre regular schedule. do not 'double-up' dose.

Pancrelipase Storage: Store at room temperature & keep away from moisture & heat. do not store in bathroom.
